Some more music from Gary

Here are three great old songs from my collection:

1. Do you remember this group from Kitchener, Copper Penny?  I think Good Time Sally was recorded around 1974 or 1975.

Copper Penny – Good Time Sally

2. I remember Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee when they used to play at the Riverboat.

Sonny Terry & Brownie Mcghee – Midnight Special

3. The last song, just good old rockabilly with the late Carl Perkins, the Mavericks, Duane Eddy singing a Carl Perkins Song “Matchbox“.

  1. Hi Gary
Thanks for the music, man. Of the 3 songs, Matchbox appeals to me the most, probably because it rocks and I love Carl Perkins’ voice. Copper Penny may have been a big name group back in the mid-70’s but in my little world, it did not register. I heard an expression tonight on the TV, “If you can remember the 70’s, you probably weren’t there”… whatever that means.
