More Beach Music – Gary
Here is some more of the music of Myrtle Beach. You are the expert, but to me it’s bluesy, simple rhythms, horn & brass orientated, almost black. The only kicker is that a lot of them are white, but southern. I will include a couple of Mojo Blues Band songs. They are big in the Carolina’s, but they come from “Austria”, figure that one out. The last one do you remember Willie Mitchell, mid sixties, trumpet, sax, keyboards, who know what else. He played with Ace Cannon, Bill Black, Al Green. I have two vinyl albums downstairs.
