A-Z Billboard Singles – Letter L

Gary: I hope everyone is enjoying the series, it’s amazing some of the information I find.
Example:  From the letter K, Buddy Knox (Party Doll, Hula Love, Rock your Baby to Sleep and so on).  Knox died in 1999. He spent a great amount of his mature life in Canada and had many businesses.  There is a picture of his last performance but I do not know the date, but he went to the doctor after, found out he had inoperable lung cancer and was gone 5 days later, sad.
I am still using the same reference book
AZa-624660-M and the letter for this post is

  1. I was listening to a radio interview of Buddy Knox.He was living across the water in (Bremerton) a Ferry ride to Seattle,Washington. He was talking about doing a show at “The Tractor Tavern” in Ballard, this is in Seattle. He died before he could do his show in Ballard.
